Last week, leather crafting made some really neat things. Of those items, they designed flowers out of leather to put in the office. If you have some time check it out! Great Job guys and girls! Add Comment On July 29th, Camp Curiosity hosted the BCTA end of year tennis tournament. More than 60 tennis players age ranging from 8-11 years old. It was a great time! We used every court possible. On Thursday, August 4th, Camp had a professional game show come visit. Each child from 2nd to 10th grade got a turn to participate in the game. The campers had to push the buzzer and answer the questions to receive points. Once getting the answer correct the campers then had to do the correct dance to the music played. Lots of Fun... and paying attention in school really helped those who knew their stuff. On Tuesday, Aug 2nd Camp Curiosity hosted Kids on Wheels. All the students at Camp Curiosity got to roller blade around the hockey ring. We did the limbo and we learned the proper way to skate and fall down. On Friday, July 29th We hosted our Talent Show & Skits. There were some neat talents and some very funny skits. From Nursery to 10th Grade we had a lot of fun. The Younger groups had a smaller talent show, which entailed a "itsy bitsy spider" rendition, songs, and dances. The Older groups ranged from a very talented rendition of synchronized "Rubbing the Head and Patting their bellies" to a "Day in the Life of a Counselor" (Pictured Below) Where Counselor volunteers ate cereal, shaved, ate pie, drove to work and worked on a computer with a helping hand from the campers hidden behind them.
