Our Kindergarten students have been working very hard on their word families which helps improve reading skills and increases their sight word vocabulary. Today, they were working very hard on "ing" word endings!!!
In reviewing the alphabet, our full day kindergarten class went on a letter scavenger hunt. The class searched all over the 55 acre campus for each missing letter. In order to claim the letter they found, they had to say what letter it was that they found, as well as the sound the letter produced. What a fun way to end the 1st week of school!
