About Us 
The Curiosity Story
The Curiosity Shoppe, the school on the grounds of Camp Curiosity, was founded over 45 years ago by early childhood educator, Ellen Thomas. Curiosity has evolved over the years in response to community need and the Thomas family’s high standards and commitment to quality care, education and experiences for children of all ages. We are an equal opportunity care provider.
Our Staff
An essential ingredient for a wonderfully successful summer camp is our highly qualified and nurturing staff that truly enjoy children. We take great pride in providing children a safe and loving environment. All staff is trained in Standard First Aid and CPR, in addition to an on-staff Registered Nurse. Each staff member is required to attend 12 hours of additional training each year. This is to educate and refresh our memories on new and innovative ideas of how we can better educate and stimulate your young child’s mind.

Our hours of operation are 7:00am to 6:00pm.
The Infant/ Young Toddler Room hours are 7:30am-5:30pm
