Summer Camp

  • For 2nd Grade & up.
  • Curiosity Stables offers a summer camp program available through most of the summer. 
  • The program is offered in two-week sessions.  Mounted and unmounted lessons are taught. 
  • In addition to the Equestrian Learning’s, campers play horse games including: Horse Charades, Horse Breed Bingo, Horseless Horse Show and more. 
  • Campers enjoy swimming in our large pool every afternoon.
  • Field trips to show different disciplines and expose the campers to other parts of the equestrian world are offered. 
  • The campers have a lounge with horse related games, crafts, and book for campers to enjoy.
  •  After every two-week session, the campers showcase their learning’s to family and friends by participating in a horse show. 

Instructor

Our Equestrian Director, Kara Smith, is a Penn State graduate of Animal Science with experience in all types of horsemanship including hunter/jumper, saddle seat, western and driving styles. Kara's goals for her students are to have fun and be safe while on and off the horse.                                   Email: kara@campcuriosity.com

    Programs

    • For 4 Years Old and Up.
    • Offered All-Year Round.
    • Private Lessons - Get individual attention with our instructors to hone and improve your skills.
    • Group Lessons - Enjoy riding and learning in a group atmosphere, while still receiving one-on-one instruction. 
    • Trail Riding - Ride with our instructors through our wooded trails. 
    • Driving Horses - Learn how to pull carts and wagons. (Coming Soon)

    Curriculum

    • Curiosity Stables, in Bucks County PA, provides year-round equestrian lessons while instilling compassion and a sense of responsibility in the Curiosity rider
    • Riders will have an understanding of the determination and perseverance it takes to achieve success in the challenges that these responsibility of caring for a horse and keeping the horse and themselves safe. 
    • Horsemanship skills, mounted horseback lessons, and unmounted lessons are taught.
