is for Ovarian Cancer
Wear & Share the color TEAL on Friday, September 7
The month of September kicks off our Color Awareness Campaign with teal for ovarian cancer. An astonishing 1 of every 75 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer in their lifetime. Ovarian cancer, often described as a vague or silent cancer for many women who go un-diagnosed until reaching advanced stages of the disease due to its non-specific symptoms and lack of early detection tests.

Sandy Rollman Foundation
The Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation was founded in Delaware County, PA in 2000 "to fight for those who are fighting, speak for those who have fallen silent, and provide for those who are working towards the end of ovarian cancer" (SROCF). The foundation's goals are providing information for women and families by sharing with our communities about the disease, treatments, and research. Through events and programs, the SROCF has joined with other organizations to offer opportunities for patient support, education, fundraising, services, and more. Coming up this month, the SROCF and the Philadelphia Phillies are joining together for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Night. On Friday, 9/14 a large portion of tickets to the Phillies baseball game purchased through the SROCF will go directly to the foundation. Check the website below for more information:
Our first donation will be to the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation! Learn more about the organization at https://sandyovarian.org/.
