Types of Lessons & Pricing
Private Lessons - Ages: 4 - Adult, One Rider, $40 per 1/2 hr and $65 per 1 hr. Riders will receive individual instruction with our equine instructors to begin and improve skills at all levels.
Semi-Private Lessons - Ages: 4 - Adult, Two Riders, $45 per lesson
Riders will enjoy riding and learning with a partner, while still receiving one-on-one instruction.
Group Lessons - Ages: 4 - Adult, Three or more Riders
Riders interested in scheduling a group lesson must contact our Equestrian Director for approval.
Cart Driving - Ages: 10 - Adult
Learn the ins and outs of hitching a pony to a cart and the fine art of driving..
Meet our Instructors
EQUINE DIRECTOR | ENGLISH SPECIALIST
Lane has been working with horses and riding for 15 years. She graduated with an Equestrian degree from Houghton College. Lane is CHA certified in level 2 English with Jumping and Level 2 Western with riding disciplines include hunter/jumper, dressage, western pleasure, and driving (cart/wagon). Lane's goal as a riding instructor is to give her students a fun introduction to learning to ride and a solid foundation to build on with utmost emphasis on safety, education, and fun.
INSTRUCTOR | WESTERN SPECIALIST
Chris Kelly recently returned to her native Pennsylvania after living for 25 years in Colorado where she pursued numerous western equine disciplines, competing in cutting, reining, reined cow, trail and even roping. In Colorado she also served as the executive director of a summer rodeo series for 10 years, overseeing all aspects of the weekly event. In addition she was the director of a therapeutic riding center that served children and adults with various physical, neurological and emotional issues. Her early training was in English riding and she is currently taking polo lessons. She also volunteers at Last Chance Ranch Equine Rescue. She is editor/production manager of a national horse magazine, Working Horse, which focuses on horse breeding, training and competition. She enjoys sharing her love of horses and riding with students of all ages and riding disciplines.
